POUND, VA- Sheila Eloise Taylor, 75, peacefully entered the arms of her Lord and Savior on Thursday September 17, 2026, from Holston Valley Medical Center- Kingsport, TN. She was surrounded by her loving family as they watched her reach her hands upward as there was someone there to meet her.
Sheila was a Christian and a member of Millstone Missionary Baptist Church for nearly 50 years where she attended faithfully. She walked her own walk with God. She lived a life defined by her deep Christian faith, quiet grace and devotion to her family. Her life was a reflection of Proverbs 31:30 –“Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” Sheila loved to travel, she enjoyed going out to eat and having get togethers with her1970’s ladies and the Red Hats Society. Though our hearts grieve her absence, we take comfort in knowing that she is resting in eternal peace with Christ.
