NORTON, VA – Richard “Ricky” Dewayne Clark, 59, of Norton, Virginia, passed away at his home Sunday October 18, 2026 following a brief illness.
Ricky was a jack of all trades who could do almost anything. He enjoyed working on heavy equipment and previously worked for A&G Coal Company. A gifted Mechanic and autobody technician, he worked various jobs throughout his life., spending many years in the past and recently at Hagy’s Autobody in Coeburn, VA. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycles and was a great artist who enjoyed drawing and coloring. Ricky was known for telling a tall tale or two. He could tell you he caught a foot-long fish when it was really only a couple of centimeters long. If you knew him, you know exactly what we mean! He also had the best Donald Duck impression, one that could make just about anyone laugh.
Ricky was preceded in death by his mother, Eunice (Hylton) Clark; his maternal grandparents Sam and Cynthia Baker; his paternal grandparents Albert and Evelyn Clark; and his special uncle Eddie Clark.
Those left to cherish his memory are his father John Clark-Wise, VA; his sister Delana Clark-Norton, VA; his brothers John Clark (Barbara)-Norton, VA and Casey Tackett-Wise, VA; his daughters Megan Beverly (Ricky)- Clintwood, VA , Samantha Clark (Justin) - Norton, VA, Octavia Clark-Norton, VA and Aria Clark-Norton, VA; his son Lucas Clark-Norton, VA; his grandsons Gunnar Beverly and Tucker Beverly; his granddaughters Avery Ferguson and Hadleigh Ferguson; a special nephew Austin Clark; special friend Roger Hagy; and a host of friends and loved ones.
