WISE, VA- Rebecca Mae (Layne) Stanley, 66, passed away on Thursday November 14, 2024, from Norton Community

Hospital-Norton, VA.

Rebecca was born December 11, 1957, to the late James Layne and Arminda (Cantrell) Boggs. She was of the Christian faith and loved going to church. She studied her Bible daily. She was a former waitress and a lifelong homemaker. She was a homebody and loved her dog "Little Girl". Rebecca

was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan, she loved Matthew McConaughey and claimed she was married to Brad Pitt. Rebecca enjoyed telling everyone "Every day was her birthday" so they would treat her special. She enjoyed

spending time with all her family, especially her sister Evelina. Rebecca will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

In addition to her parents Rebecca was preceded in death by her grandchild, Morgan Brooke Sydner; her great-grandchild

Joy Hubbard; sisters Shelby Layne and Arzella Stallard; her brothers Foster Layne, Donald Layne, Jimmy Layne and Arthur

Layne; and her brother-in-law James Rose.

Survivors include her daughters, Dawn Michelle Huff and husband Sam Shaw-Coeburn, VA and Tecee Ola Rose- South

Carolina; her son, Damon Layne and wife Thea-Wise, VA; her grandchildren Seth Snyder, Tiffany Hubbard and husband Ryan,

Aundrea Kiser and husband Greg, Kayla Rose, Jasmine Rose and Carly Rose; her great-grandchildren Parker Church, Dean

Church, Colt Hubbard, Henry Hubbard, Haddie Hubbard, Thomas Hubbard, Kyler Rose, Hudson Delia and on the way any day now, Waylon Lawson; her sister Evelina Rose-Wise, VA; her brother Darrell Layne-Coeburn, VA; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends and loved ones.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Sunday November 17, 2024, in the Baker Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jack

Calhoun and Reverend Ryan Hubbard officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time of services.

Burial will follow in the Levi Cantrell Cemetery-Pound, VA where family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.

After services the family will gather at the home of Rebecca's sister Evelina Rose in Wise, VA.
