APPALACHIA, VA – Randall Fayne Mullins, 71, passed away Friday March 13, 2026 at his residence.

Randy was born January 14, 1955 in Deland , FL. He was kind and good natured, anyone he met soon became a friend. Randy was of the Baptist faith. He was a former employee of Piggly Wiggly Stores, where his friendly personality was a great help in dealing with the many customers he dealt with on a daily basis. Randy loved to travel, he had been from coast to coast, from Florida to Alaska. He enjoyed traveling by RV, by car or by airplane. Randy loved going to flea markets searching for a good buy, he also sold a lot of merchandise. One of his favorite pastimes was playing Bingo, and he loved the many dogs he had during his lifetime. Randy treasured the time he spent with his grandson and great-grandchildren.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents Arlin Lee and Orpha (Gilley)Mullins; his sister Sandra Mullins; and his brothers Edward "Little Eddie" Mullins, Terry Mullins, Bobby Gilley and Roy Gilley.

Survivors include his son Charlie Mullins and wife Mary-Pound, VA; his grandson Richard Mullins and companion Monica Tichy-Pound, VA; his great-grandchildren Jacob, Alexis, Elliot and Chloe; his former wife and mother of his son Debbie Mullins-Pound, VA; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends and loved ones.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday March 20, 2026, at Mt. Zion Cemetery on Dewey Road in Pound, VA with Reverend Hollis Bevins officiating. Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Family and friends are asked to meet at Baker Funeral Home-Pound, VA by 1:00 pm to prepare to go in procession to the cemetery.
