POUND, VA – Michael James Pritchard, 57, passed away peacefully Tuesday January 21, 2025, at Holston Valley Regional Medical Center-Kingsport, TN with his loving family by his side.

Michael was of the Christian faith. He was a 1985 graduate of Pound High School. Michael enjoyed fishing, tinkering with cars, mechanicing, dealing with scrap metal and listening to 80's Rock and Roll. His favorite pass time was riding four wheelers. Michael was somewhat a homebody, he just enjoyed loafing and spending time with his family.

Michael was preceded in death by his father James "Jack" "Big Foot" Pritchard.

Survivors include his mother Judy Pritchard; his companion of 18 years Brittany Potter, his sons Sean Pritchard and Ryan M. J. Belcher; his brother Tim Pritchard ; his nephews Jaden Pritchard and Alex Pritchard; and a host of friends and loved ones.

All services will be private and Michael will be laid to rest beside his father at Whitt Family Cemetery on Little Road, Pound, VA.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Baker Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
