DAMASCUS, VA- Margaret Lorine (Stidham) Boggs, 86, passed away peacefully Tuesday October 15, 2024, from her home surrounded by her loving family at her bedside.

Margaret was born in Pound VA on May 12,1938 along with her twin sister, Mary Stidham Singleton to the late Albert and Partha (Bolling) Stidham. She was a Christian of the Baptist faith and was ready to

meet her Jesus. She attended the Damascus Road Baptist Church.

Margaret met Kyle in Pound, VA. In Kyle's words "It was love at first sight". They packed up and moved to Manassas, VA to start their beautiful life together. They had one son, John Wesley Boggs born in November of 1965. If you saw them together…you knew of their love.

Kyle definitely doted over her and spoiled her rotten. His favorite name for her was "Babe". They were married for 66 years until his death in June of 2024.

Margaret loved her family. She was a wonderful, loving, caring mother, and grandmother. If you had a need she was there to help you and take care of it. John, her son and his wife had one child Wesley Brian Boggs, who was the apple of their eyes.

Margaret and family moved back to Pound, VA after retirement, then moved to Damascus, VA to start farming again.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 66 years, William Kyle Boggs; her son, John Wesley Boggs who died in a car accident July 4, 1993; sisters, Eula Short, Vera Crouse and Mae Bolling; brothers, Vardrey Stidham, Cicero Stidham, Clyde Stidham, Denver Stidham, Emery Stidham, Voyne Stidham and Claude Stidham.

Those left to cherish her memory are her twin sister and best friend Mary Singleton-Abingdon, VA, her beloved grandson Wesley Brian Boggs and wife Victoria and her great-grandchildren Gabe Boggs, Hailee Boggs and Mason Boggs all of the home place, special niece who she treated as her own Pamela Wilkins and husband Richard-Abingdon, VA, and many nieces and nephews who loved her very much.

The family would like to give a very special thank you to Victoria Boggs "Tori" who has been with Margaret through her sickness from April till her death. The family wants to let Tori know that we love and appreciate all that she has sacrificed through this. Also we want her to know that she took care of her as if she was her own family. We could never repay Tori for what she has done. Tori you are a very special gift of God. Never change who you are.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday October 18, 2024 in the Baker Funeral Home Chapel- Pound, VA with Pastor Caleb Holman officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until time

of services.

Burial and committal services will follow at the Boggs Cemetery (Metro Meadow Brach Road) Pound, VA where Brian Boggs, Richard Wilkins, John Crouse, Rodney Bolling, Gabe Boggs and Fred Singleton, Jr. will serve

as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that financial contributions be made to Brian and Tori Boggs.

The staff at Baker Funeral Home-Pound, VA is in charge of arrangements and extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Margaret Lorine Boggs.
