Linda Mullins

POUND, VA – Linda Mullins, 62, passed away unexpectedly

at her residence Tuesday September 22, 2026.

   Linda was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving mother and

wife. Linda enjoyed cooking for her family and cleaning house.

She enjoyed watching soap operas and playing video games.

She cherished the time she spent with her family. Linda loved

animals, especially her three dogs Chiwacky, Harley and Jack.

   Linda was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Christine

(Tucker) Mullins; and her sisters Rebecca Mullins and Charlotte

Meade.

   Survivors include her former husband and lifelong companion

Newton Dingus of the home; her sons James “Bubba” Dingus-

Pound, VA and Jason Dingus-Pound, VA; her grandchildren Skyler

Large, Devan Dingus, Payton Dingus and Kaelyn Dingus; her great-

grandchildren Ryker Dingus, Deacon Dingus, Wyatt Large and

Andreja Large; her two bonus sons David Dingus and Bradley Dingus: 

her sister Melissa Martin and husband Kenny-Dodge City, KS; several 

nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends and loved ones.

   Funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon Friday September 

25, 2026, in the Baker Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy

Carter officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 

time of services.

   Burial will follow in the Dingus Cemetery on Collins/Baker Road

in Pound, VA where family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.

   In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made toward funeral 

expenses.

   Baker Funeral Home-Pound, VA is serving the family of Linda Mullins.
