SECO, KY – It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of

Kristie Lynn Sexton Blevins, 42, who departed this life Thursday June 25, 2026 from her home in Seco, KY.

Kristie was born in Whitesburg, KY July 19, 1983 to her parents Mazel and Patricia Ann

(Williams) Sexton. She was an example of resilience. Though she lived complex medical

challenges from early childhood, she never allowed her health to define her spirit or limit her capacity to love. Where others saw obstacles, she found opportunities to display courage, grace and an unwavering zest for life. Kristie was a great listener and true friend. She was a secret keeper, people could tell her stories and she would never reveal them, although she loved to tell stories. Kristie loved movie, especially "Big" with Tom Hanks, it was all time favorite. She also enjoyed cooking, lasagna was her specialty. Above all, Kristie was fiercely devoted to her family. She had a passionate love for her children and her husband. She loved family gatherings. Kristie and Aaron took in several kids through the years and helped raise them. She always found joy in the little things and ensuring that those around her felt deeply appreciated.

Survivors include her husband Aaron Blevins of the home; her daughter Brenda Gail Blevins of the home; her son Mazel Aaron Lee Blevins of the home; her nephew/son Bobby Christopher Sexton-Seco, KY; her brothers Richard Sexton and companion Evelena–Paintlick, KY and Mazel

Stephen "Dodo" Sexton-Lawrenceville, VA; ½ brother Manzel Sexton-Newport, KY; nephew

Derrick Sexton; niece Betty Whitaker; special sisters-in-law Lula Lavonne Blevins-Seco, KY and Kathy Ritchie; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends and loved ones.

Kristie was preceded in death by her parents Mazel and Patricia Ann (Williams) Sexton.

As per Kristie's wishes, she will be cremated and a celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday June 28, 2026 at the Skyview Park on Ramey's Fork in Haymond, KY.
