Jessica Renae Bryant

COEBURN, VA – Jessica Renae Bryant, 44, entered eternity

Thursday October 15, 2026, from Norton Community Hospital after

an extended illness. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Jessica was of the Christian faith. She was a loving and kind hearted

soul. She cherished the time she spent with her kids, her grandkids and

her mother. Jessica was forever changed after the death of her father

Larry and it gives us peace knowing that they are now reunited in

eternity. Jessica loved to travel, her favorite place to go was the

beach, she loved the sound, the smell and just the atmosphere as a

whole. She loved music, her favorite group of all time was Lynard

Skynard, but she also loved Bob Seger. She loved to dance and sing.

Jessica also enjoyed watching movies, particularly scary movies.

And she was a regular at the kids ball games and volleyball matches.

Jessica will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Jessica was preceded in death by her father Larry Bryant; her brother

Jimmy Bryant; her paternal grandparents Josephine Terry Bryant; her

maternal grandparents Elmer “Butch” Dotson and Dorsie “Tootie”

Dotson; aunt Lillian Slemp; uncle Lance Bryant; and aunt and uncle

Teresa and Ronnie Bryant

Survivors include her daughter Sawxyr Bryant-Coeburn, Va; her son

Jaxson Collins (Hailey Fleming)-Coeburn, VA; her mother Patricia

Dotson-Coeburn, VA; grandchildren Maelynn Collins and Terrance

Trent; her fiancé Jerry Carico-Coeburn, VA; her brother Matthew Bryant

(Wendy)- Coeburn, VA; nephews Brantley and Landry Bryant; niece

Angela “ Pooh” Ritchie; aunt Sheila Dotson; honorary sisters Nikki

Ratliff, Chasity Whitson and Ashley Hamilton; special friends Daniel

Farmer and Erica Fleming; and a host of family and friends.

As per Jessica’s wishes she will be cremated. There will be a celebration

of life service at 2:00 pm Sunday October 18, 2026 at the Hamilton Chapel

Church in Pound, VA with Pastor Greg Cyphers officiating and the Singing

Holbrooks singing.
