WISE, VA – Janice Lou Stafford, 68, entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday April 16, 2025 from Norton

Community Hospital-Norton, VA.

Janice was a born again Christian and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy-Pound, VA. She loved listening to gospel music and attending church services when she was able. Janice had a great sense of humor and an amazing memory, once she knew something ...it was never forgotten. Spending time with her family and friends

was always so dear to her. She also enjoyed watching TV, especially anything with John Wayne in it. Janice was good hearted and would help anyone when she had the opportunity to do so. She will be  greatly missed.

Janice is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Davis and Rachel (Tucker) Hall; sisters, Nancy Davis and Rita Davis; a brother, Perry Davis and a very special friend, Ruth Pass.

Survivors include her aunt, Ada Baker-Wise, VA; cousin and best friend, Lisa Hayden-Wise, VA; brother Jerry Mark Davis-Portsmouth, OH; special friends, Pastor Pat Dockery and Darlene Boggs; her church

family; and a host of friends and loved ones.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon Saturday April 19, 2025 in the Baker Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Pat Dockery officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time

of services.

Burial and committal services will follow at the Cox Cemetery on

Alfred Cox Road-Pound, VA where Bryan Bush, Robert Basham, Ricky Hampton and Jerry Davis will serve as pallbearers.
