EOLIA, VA- James "Jimmy" Darrell Brock, 69, passed away on January 7, 2026, from his residence. His family was at his bedside.

Jim was born on January 14,1956, the son of the late J.B. Brock and Cleo Hampton Brock in Eolia, KY.

Jim worked for Witt Motor Company previously in Norton, VA for many years. He enjoyed anything and everything related to motor vehicles and was known as a Jack of all trades. A skilled and dependable handyman, he was always willing to help others.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death his sister, Sue Adams; his nephew, Harold "Bub" Brock and his great nephew, Levi Brock.

Surviving is his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Brenda VanHuss Brock-Eolia, KY; his daughter, Tessa Brock Lovern and husband Roland- Norton, VA; a brother, Harold Brock and wife Missy-Eolia, KY; nephew, Stephen Brock and wife Michelle and their children Evan and Gabe all of Eolia, KY; niece, Emily Brock Reagan and husband Ty and their son Theo all of Eolia, KY; niece Amanda Adams and her children Katie and Caden and grandchild Brantley of Eolia, KY along with many other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held from 5pm -7 pm at Friday January 9, 2026, in the Baker Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Corbin Hampton will officiate a closing prayer.
