POUND, VA – Gordon Blaine Stidham, 70, passed away Saturday December 13, 2025 at Norton Community Hospital after an extended illness.

Blaine was born December 10, 1955 in Norton, VA to his parents James Everette "Pete" Stidham and Phyllis Bullion Stidham. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and a retired coal miner with over 30 years of underground experience. Blaine was of the Christian faith. He loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them, especially his granddaughter Chezney. Blaine loved horses, riding them and caring for them. He enjoyed farming, coon hunting and

fighting chickens. He was a simple man who enjoyed a simple life.

Blaine was preceded in death by his parents Pete and Phyllis (Bullion) Stidham; his sisters Regina Collins and Rebecca Lowe; and his brothers Freddy Stidham, Robert Stidham and Rocky Stidham.

Survivors include his daughter Natasha Stidham and fiancé Darrell Mullins-Coeburn, VA; his granddaughter Chezney Miller and husband Philip-Wise, VA; his grandson Zachary Stidham-Clintwood, VA; a sister Mary Stidham-Whitesburg, KY; a brother Tracy Stidham-Norton, VA; his former wife and mother of his daughter Wanda Stidham Green-Bluefield, VA; numerous nieces,

nephews and cousins; and a host of friends and loved ones.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Wednesday December 17, 2025 in the Baker Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Carter and Reverend Greg Cyphers officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until time of services.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Baker Funeral Home, P O Box 331, Pound, VA 24279 for final expenses.
