JENKINS, KY.- Evyonne Cox Hall, 68, passed away Tuesday June 23, 2026, at the Pikeville Medical Center- Pikeville, KY.

Evyonne was born in Jenkins, Ky to the late Milburn and Ruby (Tucker) Cox on January 12, 1958. She worked for many years at Norton Community Hospital as a cook and dietitian. She dedicated her life to the care and happiness of those she loved, putting other's needs before her own. She loved playing Bingo and making new friends there to talk with and going with her friends to the casino. Evyonne was an avid housekeeper…keeping everything spotless. She attended church frequently and enjoyed fellowship

with others.

In addition to her parents, Evyonne was preceded in death by her husband,

Douglas Hall; a sister, Sulah Ann Cox; and two brothers, Eric Cox and Randall Cox.

Survivors include her friends that were more like family; Karen Ryan-Norton, VA, Rick Richardson and Andrew Toothman both of Jenkins, KY, Kathleen Lewis and Debbie Elswick; her aunt Ada Baker-Wise, VA; her

nephews William Cox and Randall Cox, Jr; and a host of friends and loved ones; and of course her sweet and loving fur baby Buddy.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday June 26, 2026, in the Baker Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Danny Quillen officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until time of services. Burial will follow in the Cox Family Cemetery (Alfred Cox Road)- Pound, VA where family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
