EOLIA, KY – Douglas Collier, 78, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday July 6, 2025.

Doug was of the Baptist faith, a Kentucky Colonel retired coal miner, horse farrier and farmer. He loved being outside and riding the trails with his family and friends.

Doug was preceded in death by his wife of 27 years, Judy Ann (Lewis)Collier; his parents Otis and Mary (Raleigh) Collier; and his brothers Arnold Collier, Millard Collier, Monroe Collier, Arlie Collier, Sr., Chester Collier and Larry Collier.

Survivors include his children, Alan (Pauline) Engle-Frankfort, KY, Amy Fint-Frankfort, KY, and Kevin (Cindy) Engle-Clintwood, VA; seven grandchildren, Tyler Sizemore, Daleigh Engle, Isaiah

Mullins (Meckenzie), Hannah Engle (Landon), Emma Fint (Tacoma), Hunter Engle (Marissa) and Gavin Fint; two great-grandchildren

Percy Mullins and Athena Mullins; sisters Mabel Mullins-Pound, VA, Edith Dippery- Round Rock, TX and Rhonda Peake- Wise, VA; a brother Cecil Collier- Pound, VA; several nieces, nephews, cousins, a host of friends and loved ones; and his cat Big Tom Per Doug's wishes he will be cremated and his ashes spread at a later date on family property.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday July 10, 2025, in the Baker Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until time of services.

Lunch will follow services at Doug's home and everyone is invited.
