POUND, VA – Martha Diane Hubbard, age 85, passed away on Friday November 14, 2025.

Diane was a graduate of Pound High School. She worked for the Wise County School system for several decades in numerous roles, most recently as a substitute teacher and bus driver.

Diane was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Pound. During her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with family and participating in the Red Hat Club.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Thelma Mullins Bolling and Kyle Bolling, her grandparents who raised her, Florence and Lloyd Mullins, sister Linda Bolling, son Jeff Hubbard, and loving husband of 62 years, Larry Hubbard.

Surviving is her sister Barbara Roberson and husband Harold; son Dennis Hubbard and Melinda Jennings; two granddaughters, Kari Varner and husband Tyler and Kasi Clifton and husband Zac; four great grand-

children, Taylor Cochran, Tucker Varner, Hadley and Emma Clifton; her cousin and close friend Anna Canter; special friend and caregiver Brandi Meade; several nieces, nephews and cousins; her church family; and a host of friends and loved ones.

A memorial service will be held from 3:00 pm till 5:00 pm Friday November 21, 2025, at the First Presbyterian Church in Pound. In lieu of

flowers, the family requests donations to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
