POUND, VA- Della Mae Pike, 82, passed away Monday June 29, 2026 from Holston Valley Medical Center- Kingsport, TN.

Della was born in Eolia, KY on November 11, 1943 to the late Milton and Sadie (Potter) Fleming. She was of the Christian faith

and her love, strength and kindness touched the lives of so many. Della was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend…her

greatest joy came from caring for those she loved. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, quilting and researching her family

genealogy on Ancestry. Above all else, she treasured spending time with her family and making memories.

In addition to her parents, Della was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Wayne Pike; her sons, Billy Wayne Pike and Alexander Dominic Pike; a sister, Lola Pennington; and a brother, Vernon Fleming.

Survivors include her daughter…that has been missing since 2021, Saundra Kay Pike-Church; grandchildren, Derek Church- Wise, VA., Dakota Rowe- Clintwood, VA and Danielle Rowe-Clintwood, VA; longtime companion and best friend, Mark Padget- Pound, VA. a sister, Darlene Collier (Tim)-Amherst, VA; a brother, Noah Fleming (Shirley)- Whitesburg, KY; several nieces, nephews and friends to mourn her passing. She will truly be missed by all that loved her.

Graveside services will be conducted at 12 noon Thursday July 2, 2026 at Dewey Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Randy Carter officiating. Family members and friends will serves as pallbearers,

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am till 11:45 at Baker Funeral Home then travel in procession to Dewey Cemetery.
