Obituary

POUND, VA- With heavy hearts we celebrate the life and legacy of David Warren Branham, 80, who peacefully left this world Wednesday February 5, 2025, to be in the presence of his Lord and Savior after an extended illness. His loving wife and family by his side.

David was a devoted man of God, loving husband, cherished father

and Paps. He walked daily with God through his words and stories. He embodied the love and grace in God in all that he did. He fought MS for over 40 years despite losing his mobility in 2013, he never let it setback his enthusiasm, stubbornness and humor. David was not only a spiritual warrior…he was a man of resilience and discipline. As a Master and instructor in Tae Kwon Do he demonstrated strength both through body and spirit which made it possible for him to instruct hundreds of students who learned the art of Tae Kwon Do for more than 40 years under his guidance. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, baking (especially rolls) and making candy.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne Emmet and Mazie (Sowards) Branham; sisters, Leatrice Groves, Deborah Roush, Sue Cox, Lila Branham and Marcella Basham; brothers, Joseph Branham and Reverend Larry Don Branham.
