Wise, VA- Danny Bill Perry, 68, passed away Friday September 1, 2025, from Norton Community Hospital – Norton, VA.

Danny enjoyed playing guitar and fishing. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles in his younger years. He was described as a big kid at heart and a great storyteller who never met a stranger.

Danny was preceded in death by wife Sheila Kaye Perry; Father Herman Perry; Mother Evelyn June whitehouse; sisters Susie Carol Gibson and Janice Faye Maggard; Grandchild Gabriel Paul Perry; and stepfather Sidney Whitehouse.

Survivors include sons Michael Paul Perry (Karie)- Freemont, IN and Jonathan Cleve Perry- Coeburn, VA; daughters Rebecca Kay Perry (Jay Jay Falin)- Big Stone Gap, VA and Cora May Carter (Leonard)- Coeburn, VA; sister Tonia Large- Wise, VA; grandchildren Zachary Lee Perry (Dez), Brandan Paul Perry (Amber), Caleb Michael Perry, Brain Lee Carter, Bradley Shane Carter, Cheyenne Grace Carter; great-grandchildren Halee Nicole Perry, Arabella Raelyn Perry, Kolton Cash Elijah Perry, and Aiden Lee Perry as well as numerous nieces nephews and friends.

As per Danny's wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no service.
