Danny Mullins, 79, passed away at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center on November 30, 2025, in Johnson City, TN, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born in 1946 in Pound, VA, a son of the late Clyde Mullins and Mary Margeret Mullins.

Danny was a Vietnam veteran who proudly served his country in the United States Army. After his service he worked tirelessly in the coal industry until he retired. He enjoyed fishing with his brothers, working in his building along with many other hobbies.

He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Paul Mullins and two sisters Joann Mullins and Helen Clark.

He is survived by one son Danny Clyde (Melissa) Mullins of Kingsport, TN; two daughters Hope Mullins of Pound, VA; Jeannie (Dustin) Jackson of Wise, VA; four grandchildren Keldan Mullins, Carter Jackson, Presley Mullins, and Chloe Jackson, all of whom he was so proud of and loved dearly. Three brothers Robert "Hoss" Mullins, Terry Mullins, and Joel Mullins; a sister Pamela Baldwin, along with many other family and friends who will miss him.

Military services will be conducted at 12 Noon Thursday December 4, 2025, at Baker Funeral Home by the Whitesburg VFW Post 5829. Family and friends are asked to meet at Baker Funeral Home by 11:00 am to prepare for services.

Burial will follow in the Wilson-Mullins Cemetery on Wilson Hollow Road-Pound, VA where Brother Robert "Hoss" Mullins will officiate. Family members and

friends will serve as pallbearers.
