POUND, VA – Clarencetine "Tootsie" Mullins, 65, passed peacefully into eternity Sunday April 26, 2026 from the University of Kentucky Hospital. Her loving family was by her side.

Tootsie was of the Christian faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Tootsie had worked as recently as the last day of March for Mountain Comprehensive Health Corporation. She began at the Whitesburg, KY location, but had been at the Pound, VA location since its opening. She enjoyed her job and loved her coworkers. Tootsie enjoyed yardwork, especially planting and caring for her plants and flowers. She also liked gardening. Tootsie was a history buff and loved reading almost

anything, but especially about history. She liked old time country music, and loved to scroll through Facebook, where she had many friends. Tootsie treasured the time she shared with her grandsons.

Tootsie was preceded in death by her parents Paul Robert Mullins and Shirley (Potter) Mullins Collins.

Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years, Russell Mullins of the home; her daughters Miriam Bryant, PhD. and husband Jeremy of Pennsylvania and Anna Louise Mullins and husband Ryan-Fargo, ND; her sons Richard E. Mullins and wife Lolese-Newport News, VA and Andrew Mullins and wife Meaghan-Kingsport, TN; her grandsons Leaf Bryant and Thomas Mullins; her father-in-law and mother-in-law Larry E. and Marsha Mullins-Pound, VA; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends and loved ones.

Private services will be held at a later date.
