COEBURN, VA – Clarence Homer Crawford, Jr, 77, passed away Saturday March 28, 2026 at his residence in Banner.

Clarence was a retired carpenter and a veteran of the United States Army.

He was a graduate of Coeburn High School. Clarence enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He loved all kinds of music and was an avid reader. He read all kinds of books and magazines and was a regular at the Coeburn Library.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents Homer and Mabel Alberta

(McReynolds) Crawford; a brother Charles Nelson McReynolds; and two nephews Tony Lee Crawford and Stanley Lynn Crawford.

Survivors include his brothers reverend Billy Crawford-Castlewood, VA and Reverend R L Crawford and wife Nancy Jane-Coeburn, VA; nephews Jeffery McReynolds, Danny Crawford (Debby) and Michael Crawford

(Becky); a niece Karen Crawford Hall (Donald); seven great nieces and

nephews; eight great-great nieces and nephews, special friend and fishing buddy Ronnie Lawson; and a host of friends and loved ones.

As per Clarence's wishes there will be no public services and he will be laid to rest at the Richard Minton Cemetery on his brother Bill's farm wherehe loved to hunt.
