CLINTWOOD, VA – Carter Lee Williams, 72, entered into eternity Friday May 24, 2024 from Heritage Hall after an extended illness.

Carter was of the Christin faith. He was born January 31, 1952 in Nora, VA. He was a 1970 graduate of Fairview High School in

Paulding, OH and a veteran of the United States Air Force having served 18 years. Carter retired as an escort driver in the mobile home industry having delivered homes all over the united states.

Carter loved to travel, he enjoyed reading and old television shows

Carter was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Virginia (McCowan) Williams; a sister Barbara Woodring; and brothers Larry Williams and Randall Williams.

Survivors include his son Kregg Williams and family-Nashville, TN; his sister Wanda Denise Brown and husband Jerry-Sherwood,

OH; his brother Lonnie Willaims and wife Mary-Cecil, OH; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends and loved ones.

As per Carter's wishes, he will be cremated and a gathering of friends and family to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
