WISE, VA – Candy L (Cox) Skeen, 61, entered into eternity Thursday May 21, 2026 from Johnston Memorial Hospital-Abingdon, VA Her devoted family was at her side.

Candy was of the Christian faith, she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Candy was fun loving and carefree, she loved music and

dancing, she loved travelling, especially to the beach and Gatlinburg. She was always ready for any opportunity to spend time with her family and friends, particularly with her grandkids. Candy will be missed by all who knew her.

Candy was preceded in death by her father Dannie Kedrick Cox and a sister Beverley Dawn Cox Hensley.

Survivors include her mother Patricia (Bradley) Cox-Wise, VA; her daughter Brooklyn Jade Skeen-Wise, VA; her son Cody Skeen-Wise, VA; grandchildren Hunter McGraw, Jordan McGraw, Sierra McGraw, Payton Skeen and Kylie Skeen; sisters Kelly Bryant (Eddie) -Abingdon, VA and Robin Smith-Damascus, VA; brothers Eddie Cox (Karen)-Pound, VA and Billie Cox-Pound, VA; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a

host of friends and loved ones.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
