POUND, VA – Billy Neil Mullins, Sr, 73, entered into eternity Saturday November 8, 2025 from his residence, after battling terminal cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Bill was of the Christian faith. He had recently rededicated his life and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Bill was a retired coal miner. He was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver and had worked for A&G Coal and then Humphreys Enterprises. Bill was a loving companion, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. His hobbies included motorcycles, his love for horses and his muscle cars and pickups.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Carlos and Hazel Mullins; sisters Bertha Ellen Smith, Nancy Whited, Ruthie Kilgore, Naomi Sartin, Trudy Stuart and Jo Bernice Mullins; and brothers Cossie Mullins and Myrtie Mullins.

Survivors include his son Billy Neal Mullins Jr. and wife Mary; his companion and Billy's mother, Linda Vanover; his daughters Leslie Braisher, Shelley Williams and Amanda Lamb; his grandchildren Casey Moore and husband Noah, Billy Neal Mullins III and companion, Andrea, Harleigh Mullins, Harper Mullins ,Latasia Counts and husband Roman, Whitney and husband Andy Barrier and Jake Braisher, great-grandchildren Paityn McArthur, Elliot McArthur, Jacqueline Mullins, Heath Balthis, Willow Counts ,Walker Counts, Mercy Barrier, John-Andrew Barrier and Amelia Barrier; his sisters Regeania Mullins, Frances Mullins, Carrie Ratliff and Rhonda Lewis; his brothers Johnny Mullins, Roy Mullins, Connie Mullins and James Otis Mullins; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends Jeffery Bolling and Randy Bolling; and a host of friends and loved ones.

Memorial services will be conducted at 7:00 pm Wednesday November 12, 2025 in the Baker Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Carter and Reverend Greg Cyphers officiating and Brother Jessee Hutchison singing. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until time of services.
