POUND, VA - Adam Ryan Mullins, 37, departed this earthly world on Monday July 6, 2026.

Adam Ryan, or Chig as he was known to lots of his friends, was an outdoor man, he loved to fish and hunt. He loved working with cattle and horses He made a living as a carpenter and in the timber industry. But the thing he took most pride in was being a dad to his son Maverick. He loved watching him play sports, especially baseball lately. He got great joy from being his dad. Adam Ryan loved spending time with his family, but he also enjoyed time to himself.

Adam Ryan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Alvin and Anna Faye Mullins; his maternal grandparents Jack (Joe) and Violet Short Branham; his uncles Kevin Mullins and Jackie Branham; his aunt

Thresia Mullins and cousin Shannon Mullins.

Survivors include his parents Stevie Van (Greasy) and Deidria Mullins-Pound, VA; his son Maverick Mullins-Pound, VA; sisters Misti Robinson (Scottie)-Pound, VA, Stephanie Tompkins (Josh)-Big Stone Gap and Amanda Hale (Brandon)-Mt Carmel, TN; brother Nicholas Mullins-Wise, VA; nieces Makenzie Carter, Ryleigh Robinson, Gracie Tompkins, Emma Tompkins, Hallie Tompkins, Abby Hale, Hannah Hale, Rebecca Hale and Everleigh Mullins; nephews Jacob Spears, Isaiah Tompkins, Christian Tompkins and Jeremiah Hale; great nieces and nephews Everette Spears, Laini Sturgill, Liam Sturgill, Aspen Stanley, Grayson Stanley and Landrie Davis; several aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends Justin Stanley ,  J. P. Powers

and Michael Hicks; and a host of friends

and loved ones.

Memorial services will be conducted at 7:00 pm Friday July 10, 2026, in the Baker Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Josh Tompkins and

Reverend Chris Strange officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until time of services.
